Today's customers attach great importance to user-friendly packaging. The range of laminates and pouches from Wipf AG fulfils this requirement. We offer a variety of pouches and high-quality laminates materials. Depending on customer requirements, various convenience aids, labelling aids or print finishes are used.

We offer a broad range of laminates for different segments. Depending on the product, various laminates can be combined. Our laminates are painstakingly tested over a long period of time before they are offered to our customers. Key factors include oxygen permeability, water vapour tightness, laminate bonding, tensile strength, seal strength, puncture resistance, rigidity, and opacity to UV and light.

Range of laminates

POLIALUVEL®
Laminates with aluminium as the barrier layer. The laminate is printed or unprinted, depending on the application, and available in three- or four-ply versions. 

POLIVEL® MET
Non-transparent laminate with a metallized film (PET or OPP) as a barrier layer. The laminate is printed or unprinted, depending on the application, and available in two-, three- or four-ply versions.

POLIVEL®
Transparent laminate with or without a barrier layer. The laminate is printed or unprinted, depending on the application, and available in two-, three- or four-ply versions.

pharmedX®
Laminates for pharmaceutical applications with aluminium barrier layers. The laminate is printed or plain. Available in three- or four-ply versions depending on requirements.

ECOVEL®
Laminates made of biologically renewable materials. Depending on the application, the biomaterial content can be up to 96%.

WICOFLEXCAN®
Deep-drawable laminate with aluminium.


WICOSEAL® Pouch assortment

We can offer side-sealed bags, stand-up pouches, gusset bags, or five-seam pouches in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Depending on customer needs, various convenience or labelling features will be integrated. All of our pouches incorporate excellent oxygen and water vapour barriers and feature very high opacity. 

Stand-up pouch

The stand-up pouch can be fitted with many convenience features such as laser perforation, starter notches, zippers, see-through windows, and spouts. In most cases, stand-up pouches are used for filling dry or wet products as well as medical, non-food, and pet-food products.

Gusset bag

The gusset bag is used for packaging dry products as well as medical and non-food products. The gusset bag is particularly suitable for bean or ground coffee and in general for pourable products.

Side-sealed pouch

The side-sealed pouch can be fitted with various convenience features such as laser perforation, starter notches, zippers, easy peel, and see-through windows. It is used for packaging dry and wet products as well as medical and non-food products.

Five-seam pouch

The five-seam pouch with an aluminium or transparent intermediate layer is suitable for packaging dry and powdery products as well as medical and non-food products. It is used especially for large volumes.
